Adaptation Works Including Intercoms and Auto Door Openers
Standish Energy specializes in adaptation works designed to help disabled individuals remain comfortably and safely in their own homes. We install intercom systems at the front door, allowing users to see and communicate with visitors. Auto door openers are also fitted to enable easy access for the user and their carers.
To further enhance accessibility, we offer WiFi-controlled switches that let users manage their environment through voice commands using Alexa. For instance, saying "Alexa, open the blinds in the living room" will automatically open the blinds. Our goal is to provide seamless and intuitive solutions that support independent living and improve overall quality of life.
EICR Reports
At Standish Energy, we conduct thorough electrical testing of fixed wiring—cables within walls feeding lighting, sockets, and more—for all property types, from homes to factories and large shopping centers. Using NICEIC software, our engineers complete certificates on-site and instantly send them to our office for review by our qualifying supervisor. Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) ensure your building's wiring system is safe for continued use. If any defects are found, we provide a detailed list in the digital report sent to you. EICRs generally have a 5-year lifespan, so it's essential to have your property tested every five years.
